Integral to Baby Welcoming™ gatherings is time to listen, speak, and reflect for the mother and her circle of support. This is a poignant time we carve together to bask in peaceful, nurturing energy in support of the mother, baby, partner, and family. The soothing incantations Cecily delivers evoke a sense of coming home. The soulful toning and singing are invocations of love and compassion that speak to the hearts and minds of participants. A warm, welcoming feeling is palpable, and enjoyed by all.

These personalized ceremonies are made to uniquely fit each mother and baby, and her close community of support. Cecily leads these ceremonies with the mother’s circle of supportive loved ones, as well as within the intimacy of a couple. Depending on your preference, you may wish to have the ceremony with your circle of female support, and/or your partner. Plus, if you have older children, it’s lovely to have them participate. Some women choose the Baby Welcoming™ as its own event, and some prefer to incorporate it into their traditional baby shower.
